The Economic Blindspot is a financial literacy publication, founded because most economic publications either overcomplicate or underexplain. This is the spot in between.

The e-books lead with examples of situations you could actually find yourself in, then give you the basics you need to understand what is going on. The articles cover current events and the forces behind them.

Nothing here is a stock tip or a sales pitch. It is an explanation of the systems that set the price of your life, so that those systems stop being a blindspot.

The Economic Blindspot was founded by Zachary Schwartz, a Class of 2028 high school student who noticed how little people are taught about money and economics, and how little of it schools actually cover. He wanted to make it accessible to everyone.

The goal is information that is credible, drawn from primary sources, and written in language anyone can follow.
